This june, the laureates of the 2013 Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition will give a series of concerts throughout Belgium and abroad. The 4th, 5th and 6th laureates will present themselves to the public at the laureates’ concert on Thursday June 13th at the Brussels Centre for Fine Arts. Stanislav Khristenko, Zhang Zuo and Andrew Tyson will be accompanied by the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège under the baton of Patrick Davin. The concert will be broadcasted live on Musiq’3 and on Klara. The 3 laureates will also perform in Lille on June 14th and Mons on June 16th.
The first three laureates, Boris Giltburg, Rémi Geniet and Mateusz Borowiak, will end the 2013 Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition with the closing concert on Monday june 17th. Their performances will be broadcasted live on Musiq’3, Klara and in 9 Kinepolis cinemas. The same night, the pre-recorded performances will be shown on TV - La Trois at 21:05 and on Sunday june 23rd at 12:00 on Canvas. Together with deFilharmonie and conductor Edo de Waart the 1st, 2nd and 3rd laureates of the 2013 Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition will take the stage in Hasselt on June 13th, Roeselare on june 14th, Antwerp on june 15th & 21st, Leuven on june 18th, Ghent on june 20th, and finally Bruges on June 22nd.
The six unranked laureates will perform a midday/noon recital at la Monnaie-Brussels in the Concertini series, on 5th, 6th and 7th of june and on 12th, 13th and 14th of june 2013.
