Wayne Weng has won the 2013 Iowa Piano Competition. Second came Josu de Solaun Soto from Spain. The third place was awarded to Julia Siciliano from the USA.
The Iowa Piano Competition is an intensive three-day competition hosted by the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra in Sioux City, Iowa. The 2013 Competition was held March 7-9, 2013. Twelve pianists from all entries received were selected by jury to compete in the Competition.
