Olga Pashchenko

Olga Pashchenko was born 23rd October 1986 in Moscow. She began to study music in 1993 at the Nikolai Myaskovsky Children’s School of Music. That same year, she became a prize-winner at the All-Russian Children’s Young Piano Competition. Since 1994 she has studied at the Gnessin School of Music in the class of Tatiana Zelikman. She gave her first recital in New York at the age of nine. In 2002 she became a grant-recipient of the Russian Performing Arts foundation. During her studies, she became interested in authentic performing practices, which to a great extent has defined her subsequent development and artistic interests.  She graduated from the Gnessin School of Music with distinction.




Olga Pashchenko entered 2005 the Moscow P.-I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory and studied contemporary piano in the class of Alexei Lyubimov. From her first year, the performer also began to study the organ under Alexei Shmitov at the Department of Organ and Harpsichord of the Piano Faculty. In 2010 Olga Pashchenko graduated with distinction from the Conservatory and continued with a post-graduate study at the Faculty of Historical and Contemporary Performing Arts, in the class of Alexei Lyubimov. She also maintains regular contact with her former teacher, Tatiana Zelikman.




Olga Pashchenko has taken part in master-classes of both classical and authentic performing in Russia and abroad given by Trevor Pinnock, Bob van Asperen, Christopher Stembridge, Ella Sevskaya, Davitt Moroney, Bart van Oort, Malcolm Bilson, Christine Schornsheim, Gunther Rost, Johann Trummer and Ludger Lohmann. The pianist also participates in international festivals in Kitzingen, Poeke, Karlsruhe, Florence, and Utrecht. She worked with Alexei Lyubimov, Natalia Gutman, Anatoly Grindenko, Pavel Serbin, Alexei Utkin, Paolo Grazzi and Dmitry Sinkovsky among others.

Olga Pashchenko frequently performs as a soloist and performs in concert with various orchestras throughout Russia, Germany, Austria, Italy, Belgium, France and the USA. Her repertoire is extensive and includes works by highly diverse composers from the 16th to the 21st centuries.
